When Max makes the huge mistake of sleeping with her boss, she decides to copy some files from his computer to hold as leverage in the event that he may try to fire her. Little does she know, the files hold secrets that can take down her boss and the entire Fiddle company.

That decision changes the course of both of their lives.

Catch is hired to kidnap and kill Max, but instead he chooses to save her life. They go on the run as he tries to formulate a plan to remove the hit on Max, because he believes that she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. As they spend more time together, Catch’s motivation for saving her life changes with his realization that if anything happens to Max he may be unable to live without her.

My thoughts:

CATCH is one hell of a story. 

The story starts off with Catch, being given an assignment on his next hit, but something bothers him, and feels something is not right, but he doesn't question it. It's his last assignment after all. Until he meets Max. 

Max just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when she innocently does something, which in her opinion will act as leverage when the time comes. What she doesn't know is that, she has unknowingly walked into a minefield, and Catch is about to descend on her like a dark cloud.

What follows is a chase of sorts as Catch does everything to save Max.

Wow, talk about a swoonworthy Alpha! Catch is that and more. Max is feisty, and holds onto control like she's holding onto her last breath. What a wonderful pair!
This book is fast paced, and hot, hot, hot. I highly recommend this book! I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Solange Poirier is married and lives in southern Louisiana. She have the utmost privilege of being the mom to a 6-year-old and a 2-year-old. They test her sanity on a daily basis. My thoughts:

I was really excited to read this book, especially since it's written in dual POV. I enjoyed reading the book, though I had a few difficulties with it. First the characters are awesome. Nathan is retired Marine and Honor is a writer. The book started off really well, full of suspense, and I kept reading, my ipad clutched in my hands, waiting and wanting to see what happens. 

It kind of went off the rails for me when on several occasions, the situation she was in and what had nearly happened clashed with how she was supposed to react. Or someone in her situation would act.

All in all, this is an enjoyable story, and if you are looking for a good contemporary romance, pick this one up!

I caught myself right before I started purring like a cat. That would have been hella embarrassing. “I’m a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. My favorite color is green, and I like football.” “What are you doing?” I asked, thoroughly charmed by him. “Formally introducing myself so you’ll let me under your shirt.” I laughed. “I usually don’t let men I just met under my shirt.” “I’m irresistible.” I smiled. “And so modest.”
